About the Role

Panda is a leading waste management provider. We're hiring an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for our Birmingham team.

The Role

Based at our Birmingham depot (B8 1AH), you'll collect and transport commercial waste using our modern fleet.

  • Shift Pattern: Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays. Am and PM shift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely drive HGV Class 2 vehicles.
  • Complete efficient collection routes.
  • Ensure tidy customer sites.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks.
  • Weigh bins and record data on a tablet.
  • Follow waste regulations and driver hours.
  • Report incidents promptly.

Essential Requirements

  • Valid UK Class 2 licence, current Driver CPC, and digital tachograph card.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Physically fit for manual handling.
  • Flexibility for occasional weekend work.

  • Pay: AM shift:£14.85/hour base rate, PM shift:£17.98/hour base rate.
  • Bonuses: 8p per bin
