About the Role

Our team at Spanners Ltd. are currently looking for a qualified LCV/HGV CVR Tester with relevant certificates from the RSA for our state-of-the-art Test Centre in Ballymount Dublin 12.

Or

A mechanic holding a Senior Trade Certificate/National Craft Certificate to at least FETAC Level 6 in the skill area of LCV, HGV willing to train as a tester.

You will be required to conduct all aspects of CVR Testing for LCV and HGV Vehicles.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • To conduct vehicle tests, keeping up to date with current CVRT/RSA legislation, training and standards.
  • To communicate directly with customers the results of a test on their vehicle and explain/show on the vehicle where required
  • To ensure that all work is carried out to the highest possible standard and that customers are treated with courtesy at all times
  • Report equipment / facility faults to the Test Centre Manager
  • To ensure that work place is clean, tidy and safe during and following every job
  • To undertake any other duties or activities as required
  • Be a reliable individual with a proven track record
  • Ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Excellent time keeping and attendance essential.

Requirements

  • Qualified LCV & HGV Vehicle Tester
  • Qualified HGV Mechanic (1year+ essential)
